Ana Cristina Carpio Morla completed her undergraduate studies at the Central Eastern University in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, from 2008 to 2013, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Medicine degree. In 2015, Dr. Ana Carpio secured a position to specialize in General Surgery at Dr. Luis Eduardo Aybar Hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She subsequently pursued her postgraduate training at Salvador Bienvenido Gautier Hospital until 2021, earning the title of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon.

During her training, Dr. Carpio undertook international rotations to enhance her expertise in various areas of her specialty, focusing on both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Noteworthy experiences include pediatric surgery for cleft lip and palate at Eva Samano de López Mateos Children's Hospital in Morelia, Mexico, and breast surgery and reconstruction at ABC Hospital in Mexico City. She actively participates in national and international congresses to stay abreast of the latest advancements and provide high-quality care to her patients. Currently, Dr. Carpio practices surgical procedures and consultations at the Center for Plastic Surgery and Liposculpture (CECILIP).
